Introduction

Hello, everyone! We are Koto music club. Japanese often call the club “Soukyoku-Bu”. “Soukyoku” is another way to read Koto music. By the way, do you know Koto? It is a zither-like Japanese musical instrument. Some people think that it looks difficult to play and that they are worried about playing it because they have never played it… Don’t worry about that. We started playing it after entering high school, too. If you want to try something new, if you are interested in Japanese musical instrument or you are just curious, we welcome all of you! We practice every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the tatami room, so please come! We hope you will join us.

Activity report

In the school festival, we played “Sakura” when the tea ceremony club served tea. In addition, we played “Kuon” in Link station hall Aomori. We have practiced it since last year.
