SGH LectureⅡ-5

On June 16, 2015, Mr. Raisuke Nishiya, President of Tabisuke Unlimited Partnership (a travel agency in Hirosaki) gave us a lecture entitled “Effective Presentation”.

Mr. Nishiya started his company Tabisuke in 2012, which mainly deals with inbound tours. Tabisuke provides unique tour plans, such as multilingual correspondence (English, Korean) tours, tours with the care service, snow shoveling skill test tours and so on.

At the beginning of the lecture, he said, “It is important to enjoy making business plans. Not because someone told you to do it, but because you yourself want to do it.”

Mr. Nishiya introduced us the examples of developing various products, and taught us the method of the brainstorming, results in as many free ideas as we can think of. The point is to notice what we don’t notice every day and make use of it. For example, we live in Aomori, and we never take photos of icicles. But for the people from warm places, icicles are very unusual and they want to take photos of them. For the people in Tokyo, the sight of station stairs full of people is usual. But for us, it is very unusual and we want to take photos of it.

He taught us the point of the idea is “to think about the inversion”.
