On May 26, 2015, Associate Professor Kunio Ookura from the Faculty of Humanities at Hirosaki University gave SGH students a lecture entitled “Effective Ways to Conduct Fieldwork Research”.

　Dr. Ookura himself has done fieldwork research on recycling clothes. Based on his own experience, he taught us characteristics of fieldwork, how to set research questions (RQ), and how to set a hypothesis corresponding to RQ. He also taught how to write interview questions and how to take notes at interviews.

　SGH students will make use of today's lecture contents in fieldwork they are going to do within and outside of Japan.
