On May 19, 2015, Mr. Takashi Oku, Director of the JETRO (Japan External Trading Organization) Aomori Information Center, gave SGH class students a lecture entitled “Thinking About Overseas Business”.

　Mr. Oku showed us a DVD featuring Japanese business people in Singapore. Japanese food is popular there, and there is a “Japanese Selection” corner in some supermarkets. They can also buy Nihon-shu (Japanese alcohol) and Japanese brands of ice cream there. Singapore people are very conscious of healthy food. Mr. Oku gave us various pieces of information on Singapore and explained about its trading system.
