On November 5, 2014, Professor Kaoru Katori, the president of Aomori Public University, gave us a lecture entitled “Technique of the Presentation”.

　Before the explanation of the presentation, Professor Katori said, “Even if you have good presentation skills, it is no good unless the others could understand what you want to tell them.”

　Professor Katori showed us Power Point documents that were made by university students. Some of them were very simple ones, using only letters or only pictures. The others were complicated ones with several techniques, using letters and pictures together, comparing pieces of data with others, and so on. He showed us his own Power Point, too.

　Our students are going to try to make their own presentations by referring to today’s lecture.
