SGH Fieldwork Ⅱ-2

On June 30, 2015, SGH class students (35 students) did a workshop, inviting 36 foreign people as lecturers; CIRs (Coordinators for International Relations), ALTs (Assistant Language Teachers), overseas students from Aomori Chuo Gakuin University (ACGU).

First, they made the group of eight people (four students and four lecturers), and students gave presentations in English about the Aomori products based on the research they carried out on June 2. The lecturers pointed out indistinct expressions in their presentations, had discussions, and exchanged opinions so that the students deepened their research contents. After that, the students interviewed lecturers one-to-one in English, and could get many frank opinions about the agriculture and forestry marine products, the traditional art works, and the sightseeing spots in Aomori.

It was really a fantastic opportunity for the students to polish their skills of presentations and communication. We would like to thank all the CIRs, ALTs and ACGU overseas students for talking to the students sincerely and patiently! We would like to sincerely thank all the related organizations (the Aomori City Board of Education, the Yomogita Village Board of Education, the Imabetsu Town Board of Education, the Aomori Prefectural Government, High Schools in Aomori, ACGU) for their great help.
