On May 19, 2015, from 9:00a.m. to 1:30p.m., a delegation from Taiwan Banqiao High School (33 students and 3 teachers, including the principal) visited our school. Our SGH class students (35 students) welcomed them, and the students had a good time together.

　First, both students mingled with each other through an English word game. After that, they made pairs, introduced themselves to each other, and our students showed them around our school.

　Then, a third-year student played Shamisen (Japanese traditional guitar), students of the kendo club gave them a kendo practice performance, and all of them did shodo (calligraphy) together. Then, Banqiao students showed us wonderful song and dance performances. Some of SGH students performed a Yosakoi dance. At lunch time, they ate lunch together at our cafeteria.

　Students from both schools seemed to be shy to talk to each other at first, but they quickly became friends. Even though the nationality and language were different, each student realized that they could make themselves understood in English and communicate with each other if they tried to do so.
