On November 11th, 2016, overseas students from Aomori Chuo Gakuin University visited our school and the students enjoyed a cultural exchange meeting with them. The twenty one overseas students were from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Taiwan. Peter, our ALT, joined too.

Our students of the tea ceremony club served the overseas students Japanese tea and sweets, and both groups of students enjoyed talking to each other over a cup of tea.

After that, our students and the overseas students were divided into seven groups. In each group, they talked about many things in English, such as introducing themselves to each other, comparing their cultures, and so on. The overseas students talked about their home countries, and our students asked them about what they think about Aomori.

It was really a wonderful time for all of us!
