On May 30th and 31st, 2016, Professor Shinji Kajitani of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Tokyo, gave us group workshops entitled “Philosophy Talks ”.

　It is said that the Japanese are not good at arguments. In this workshop, our students learned to listen to others carefully, to think about others’ opinions and to add their own opinions to them. Also, by thinking about things deeply, our students experienced philosophical thinking for the first time.
